CSIT ExCom met with the Minister of Sport of Malta

CSIT ExCom Meeting took place in Malta from June 15 to 18.

CSIT President Bruno Molea and the entire CSIT ExCom had a very productive meeting with the Maltese Minister of Sport Clifton Grima during their ExCom meeting in Malta. The Minister had invited CSIT to visit the Mediterranean island. The discussions focused on the possible future cooperation of CSIT with Sport Malta, especially in the promotion of grassroots sports activities.

In return, Bruno Molea invited the Maltese Minister of Sport to visit the 7th CSIT World Sports Games in Cervia, Italy, from 5 to 10 September. Minister Grima has accepted the return invitation. His presence in Emilia Romagna is an honour for CSIT and a great appreciation for the grassroots sports movement and the CSIT World Sports Games.

CSIT would like to take this opportunity to thank Clifton Grima for his warm hospitality and his commitment to promoting cooperation between CSIT and Sport Malta. Special thanks go to the colleagues of the Maltese Ministry of Sport, especially to Ms Bickle for the excellent cooperation and excellent preparation of these days. The CSIT delegation had a very enjoyable stay and were able to get a personal impression of the excellent sports facilities in Malta.

CSIT and Sport Malta together can have a lasting impact on grassroots sport and provide great opportunities for athletes worldwide. Malta also recently hosted the European Olympic Committee's "Games of the Small States of Europe in 2023" very successfully. Find out more about the Games
