Working together for a community with a shared future

CSIT President Bruno Molea was present at the presentation of the Italian edition of “The Governance of China” by Chinese President Xi Jinping

Environmental sustainability, international cooperation, and human and social development are not only important global issues, but also values that form part of CSIT's foundation and on which CSIT builds, develops, and supports projects. These issues were also the focus of an important seminar on governance and cooperation between China and Italy, held in the prestigious setting of the Palazzo Colonna in Rome. CSIT and AICS President Bruno Molea was also present at the presentation of the Italian edition of “The Governance of China” by Chinese President Xi Jinping, as well as at the subsequent seminar on governance and cooperation between China and Italy.

It was a very significant event, at which Bruno Molea met with Jia Guide, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Italy. The CSIT President also had the opportunity to engage in dialogue with Vinicio Peluffo, President of the parliamentary association “Friends of China,” and Prof. Pino Arlacchi, former Deputy Director-General of the United Nations. The aim was to strengthen relations and future cooperation between institutions and the world of sport and culture.

True strength lies in building bridges through sport and culture
The meeting reaffirmed the shared intention to strengthen relations between Italian and Chinese sports organizations and to create new opportunities for exchange and cooperation. With a vision focused on a shared future for all of humanity. The message that came across loud and clear is that true strength lies in building bridges through sport and culture, finding spaces for dialogue, appreciating differences, and striving together for prosperity, stability, justice, and dignity.

CSIT and AICS will continue to promote cooperation, joint projects, and cultural and sporting initiatives that strengthen the historic friendship between Italy and China and may also enable CSIT to collaborate with Chinese projects and associations in the future. Together on the path to a community with a shared future.
