Where is the journey heading? WSG 2025 and 2027

In 2023, the CSIT World Sports Games (WSG) will take place in the eternal city of Rome. The bidding and evaluation phase for the 2025 Games is currently underway. Two countries, South Korea and Greece have officially submitted their applications. The evaluation on location will take place in the next few weeks. The three Sports Directors Henk Bouchoms, Georges Michel and Harold van Hest will travel to South Korea and Greece in July and then present their findings to the CSIT ExCom. The award will be made in autumn 2022 at an extraordinary ExCom meeting so that the 2025 – host can present its candidature accordingly at the CSIT Congress in November. Parallel to the awarding of the 2025 Games, the process for 2027 is already underway, the application deadline has not yet expired, and the CSIT already has a promising number of letters of intent.
