The 5th World Amateur Sport Forum ”Small Nations, Big Impact."
Since 2019 this public forum is a platform for discussions on current topics and innovative ideas in and around sport as well as a presentation opportunity for the many EU co-funded CSIT projects since its inception. This year's forum was attended by high-ranking politicians from San Marino, including Elis Rossi, Vice-Minister for Sport, and Alan Gasperoni, Vice-Minister for Tourism of the Republic of San Marino, who provided insights into sporting activities in San Marino. Christian Forcellini, President of the San Marino Olympic Committee, emphasized in his speech the importance and, above all, the value of small nations such as San Marino in the world of top-level international sport. The Sport was represented at the forum by Stefano Bernardi, who presented the trendy US sport of Grappling, and by artistic swimmer Jasmine Verbena, who made it from San Marino to the World Championships in Fukuoka in 2023 (Japan) and Singapore in 2025, where she reached the final. Both spoke on the topic of amateur sport as a lever for youth inclusion.
