PlayIn4Kids Workshop in Italy

The PlayIn4Kids – PI4K workshop officially started this week in Savignano sul Rubicone, Italy, hosted by the project partner Around Sport. During the first practical sessions, the participating coaches worked directly on the sports field together with children with cognitive disabilities. The aim of the workshop is to experience and test inclusive sports methods in practice and to explore how sporting activities can be adapted to different abilities and individual needs.

The workshop brings together four coaches from each partner country. All participants previously completed the PI4K online training sessions held in June and July. Following the workshop, the coaches will transfer the knowledge and methods gained to their own countries. From November 2026 to February 2027, they will implement national pilot activities and contribute to the development of more inclusive, accessible and welcoming sports environments for children.
