Thank you Loutraki

CSIT Congress 2024: CSIT President Bruno Molea says personaly thanks to Georgios Gionis, the Mayor of Loutraki

“My first thanks go to the organisation that hosted our Congress, HOCSH, with its president Nikos Kerassovitis and his staff. I also would like to thank Georgios Gionis, the mayor of Loutraki and the city council, who warmly welcomed the many participants who came from all over the world and who had the opportunity to inspect the sports infrastructure and get to know the staff who will host the CSIT World Sports Games to be held in June 2025 in Loutraki.”

“It was with great satisfaction that the 2024 congress week represented the fulfilment of many challenges that have been at the heart of the Confederation's operations in recent years: the consolidation of the platform of young Csit leaders, who, thanks to European projects, presented the results of their work to the CSIT delegates, providing concrete ideas and inspiring future actions, with particular reference to the organisation of international youth sports camps, guidelines for the environmental sustainability of sports organisations and their events and training courses guidelines and modules for coaches in youth sport.”

“The General Assembly of the Technical Commissions made it possible to analyse the results of the csit championships and identify the best practices that set an example for all and that represent the basic requirements for the future work of technical commissioners, with a view to the organisation of the next world games in 2025. Once again, excellences was valued and offered as insights to raise the quality of standards of the Confederation's work. Many inspirational "food four thoughts" were received during the congress activities, to put sport at the centre as a tool for healthy lifestyles and the promotion of social cohesion in communities. The Congress welcomed many new members, who offer us their support and testify how much the Confederation has grown in the world in recent years and opened the doors of amateur sport to new countries.“

“The challenges do not end here, since the 46th Congress the Confederation has equipped itself with an App for all individual members around the world who can follow the many activities, inform themselves about the initiatives in which to participate, a new tool for the current times that require digital transition, community building and active participation. I would like to thank the work done by the CSIT Executive Committtee members over the past few months, the first 11 months of the new mandate starting in 2023, which has been characterised by analysis, in-depth assessments necessary for a process of expansion and development of the Confederation.”
