Presenting how to "PLAYS"

CSIT Project Manager Dariya Sharafan has hosted the Promotional Event at Amateur Sports Forum.

At the CSIT Amateur Sports Forum, CSIT Project Manager Dariya Sharafan presented the "Practical Learning to Advance Youngsters in Sport" (PLAYS) project, co-funded by the European Union.

In her presentation to representatives of at least 40 CSIT member organizations, she outlined the project's main goals, key impacts, and deliverables, including a needs analysis and best practices report from partner countries (Austria, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Romania).

Special focus was given to the PLAYS program, guide and platform, explaining each of its 10 dimensions with examples and PLAYS methods from the guide. She also provided stakeholders present at the Forum, including CSIT members, politicians, media, and sports specialists, with access to the full set of PLAYS materials to promote sports for children aged 6 to 12 in their organizations and sport clubs.

The presentation sparked valuable insights from the audience about the program and the methods developed by PLAYS partners in the Guide. Attendees emphasized the importance of engaging children in sports, noting that a playful approach would be particularly effective. Even after the event, discussions about the guide’s methods continued with interested groups.
