With more than 50 members from more than 40 countries and over 200 million individual members, CSIT has grown into an enormously large international sports federation in recent years. And the expansion continues. CSIT is constantly striving to expand its family and to find more and more partners. After the admission of South Korea some years ago, which has also applied to host the CSIT WSG 2025, there is another promising Asian applicant, the Azerbaijan Budo Martial Arts Federation. At the ExCom meeting in Cervia, CSIT Asia Ambassador Myungsoo Eo presented his activity report and outlined plans for expansion into Asia. Myungsoo Eo is also President of the South Korean member organisation KOWSC and very active in his new area of responsibility. The internal CSIT admission procedure for Candidate Members as Full Members is currently underway. Some candidates have fulfilled all the criteria and will receive the corresponding notification of admission from the CSIT General Secretary in the next few weeks.
