NEROCLES – The Games Mascot
From the springs of Loutraki to the heart of the WSG, a smiling drop of water full of energy arrives. The mascot of the CSIT World Sports Games 2025 is named Nerocles! He was born in the heart of Greece, where the sea embraces the mountains and thermal springs have flowed from the depths of the earth for centuries. The name Nerocles combines “nero” (water), the source of life, health, and vitality, with “Heraklis” (Hercules), the ancient mythical hero who embodied strength, endurance, perseverance, and the spirit of competition. Nerocles is a child of myth and tradition. Loutraki, known since antiquity as “Thermai,” has long been a place of healing, rest, and renewal. Nerocles is not just a mascot — he is the bridge between past and present. He represents the water that once sprang from earth and now inspire a global vision of health, wellness, participation, and camaraderie.
In every drop, Nerocles carries the story of Greece.
