Tuesday in the bright morning sun at the Open Air Waterfront Amphitheater at the Ramada & Wyndham Poseidon Resort in the west of Loutraki: All 16 chairmen of the CSIT Technical Commission under the lead of the two CSIT Sports Directors Georges Michel and Harold van Hest officially started their duty at the 8th WORLD SPORTS GAMES. CSIT President Mr. Bruno Monea underlined in an antique setting the modern challenge which the sports directors of the 27 sports have to face: “We are proud of our record number of participants,” said the Italian, “but these numbers and many new disciplines demand even more commitment from you than ever before.” There is no one who is not looking forward to this great task for well over 4000 participants (Athletes, officials and referees).
