CSIT Catch'n Serve Ball Championships open
The new international association Catch'n Serve Ball was founded just a few weeks ago. The first championships under the umbrella of CSIT are already taking place in Croatia from June 5 to 9. The event was officially opened on Thursday afternoon. Among the guests were the Deputy Mayor of Rovinj, David Modrsuan, host HLA President Petra Maras, HLA General Secretary Dario Jagic as well as Milan Cupic and ICSBF President Elisabeth Speiser. The CSIT was represented by Sports Director Georges Michel, General Secretary Wolfgang Burghardt and Valeria Gherardini. There was also an ExCom meeting of the International Catch'n Serve Ball Federation ICSBF as part of the tournament.
The first edition of the tournament was already very well attended. A total of 100 participants from Croatia, Slovenia, USA, Finland, Italy, Germany, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Latvia. The big favorite is Italy. The final will take place on Saturday. Wonderful conditions have been created, great sports facilities and perfect accommodation for the delegations. Many thanks to HLA and the entire organization team. Everything went smoothly on the very first day. Rovinj is a beautiful town, perfect for a tournament of this size and not without reason one of the tourist hotspots in Croatia.
United Mixed Team!
The ICSBF championship is open to members of CSIT and ICSBF and is organized in a spirit of fraternity, respect and peace. All sports federations and sports clubs that want to promote the sport together and share its values and objectives 100% are invited. The CSIT is one of the co-founders of this new international sport.
