AIOS meeting in Lausanne
In the framework of the If Forum SportAccord in Lausanne CSIT President Bruno Molea held a meeting of AIOS, the Association of International Organisations for Sport, which he chairs as CSIT President. Present were Pierre Zappelli and Giorgio Chinellato (Panathlon International), Martin Isaksson and Bradley Sandler (FICS - Federation internationale de chiropratique du sport), Valeria Gherardini from the presidents office and CSIT General Secretary Wolfgang Burghardt.
Together the group updated on the next possible members and the role of AIOS in Sportaccord and especially on its possible entry in SportAccord as Observer. In the afternoon Bruno Molea had a meeting with the SportAccord President about it. "The entry of grassroots sport and organisations that do not practice élite sport in SportAccord would be an important recognition of the work of those who struggle every day to promote sport as a tool for healthy lifestyle and education", stated Bruno Molea.
