5th General Assembly of Mamanet Austria

At the 5th General Assembly in the festive Spiegelsaal in the Haus des Sports in Vienna, reports were given on the numerous activities in the various units, several resolutions were passed and unanimous elections were held. At the concluding buffet, a personal get-together could finally take place again.

The focus was on the reports about the numerous activities in the last two years. Even though the competition was limited, there were numerous measures and activities. Since ever, it is mainly women who make the decisions at Mamanet Austria and most of the board members also play and lead Mamanet groups themselves. This was also the case this year.
With the new president, Dr. Jennifer Kickert, Mamanet now also gets a fresh view from outside: "I was immediately enthusiastic about Mamanet because it can be played by everyone right away and does not have to be painstakingly learned and trained beforehand," she is convinced. As a former top performer in the Austrian volleyball scene, she knows what she is talking about. Jennifer Kickert has already tried Mamanet and met many Austrian and international players at the ASVÖ "I am aware" tournament. Her zest for action can already be felt.

A nice sign on the side: what was left over from the buffet was given to a social supply centre for the needy.
