Final enthusiasm and strong performances

While outdoors the Serbian mini soccer team celebrated their 5:1 victory over Italy in the final with loud chants and Mexico won the match for third place against France 3:2, a Mexican women's team delivered a demonstration of power in the volleyball hall, defeating the USA team 3:0. In the men's final, however, the US team bent Portugal 3:1. Third place went to Estonia against Latvia (3:0) in the all-Baltic small final. The SPORT CAMP is predestined for an event like the CSIT WORLD SPORTS GAMES. “This is a model for the future,” said CSIT President Bruno Molea. Most international friendships were certainly made there, because in addition to the sports mentioned above, beach volleyball, table tennis and many different senior sports were also held there. Not far away in the tennis competition, there was a showdown between Italy and Austria. As it was a final group of three, a 3:3 was enough for the Italian team to win overall in a high-class match. Track and field athletes had the hardest time in the heat of the Municipal Stadium of Loutraki. Nevertheless, strong performances and long jumps were achieved.
