Important decisions in Bern

Every three months, the CSIT ExCom meets for regular internal updates and preparations for upcoming events. The next CSIT World Sports Games will take place in Aalborg (Denmark) in June 2027, which was also one of the main topics of the meeting in Bern. Representatives of the host organisation presented the current status of preparations and the planned projects for WSG2027. A very special item on the agenda this time was the presentation and insights into the filming of the world-famous and popular James Bond movies, some of which are repeatedly shot in Switzerland and co-designed and implemented by Swiss stunt master Stefan Zürcher.

Two new candidates for the CSIT were also introduced during the meeting. CBBT Brasilien Beach-Tennis and KFD South Korean Dance Sports Federation. CBBT has grown significantly in recent years, with more than 50,000 total practitioners across the country. The national structure organizes over 80 tournaments annually, providing competitive opportunities at different levels. Additionally, there are around 2,500 registered players actively participating in official competitions and rankings.  ⁠KFD South Korean Dance Sports Federation is based in Seoul and plays a key role in promoting competitive dancesport nationwide and its activities are recognized within the broader DanceSport heritage framework.
